The basic features of the Indian Constitution or basic structure theory concept of the Indian Constitution is the fundamental parts of the Indian Constitution. These features are can't be amended under the provision Article 368 of the Indian Constitution. Some of the basic features of the Indian Constitution are as follows;
1.Supremacy of the Constitution
2. Republican or Democratic form of government
3. Secular nature
4. Federal character
5. Separation
6. Unity and integrity of the nation
7. Personal freedoms.
Any amendment under the provision Article 368 can't infringe upon these rights.

Some of the case laws were;
1. Shankari Prasad vs. Union of India
2. Sajan Singh vs. State of Rajasthan
3. Galokh Nath vs. State of Punjab
4. Kesavananda Bharati vs. State of Kerala
5. Raj Narain vs. Indira Gandhi
6. Minerva Mills vs. Union of India.

Finally honourable Supreme Court overruled and held that the basic features of the Indian Constitution are supreme and can't be amended.
