Post-operative Care - Dr Saadiq Moledina

As a surgical FY Doctor, you could be asked to manage patients after they return from theatre. Join us to explore some common post-operative complications from short term issues like bleeding, ileus and managing drain outputs… to longer-term problems like infection and atelectasis.

Dr Saadiq Moledina trained at Cambridge University and is currently an academic clinical fellow in Cardiology. He has vast experience in managing the acutely unwell patient having spent time working in The Royal Brompton Intensive Care Unit. In his spare time, he enjoys racket sports and remains undefeated at table tennis in the St Mary’s hospital doctors' mess!
