This is one of my favorite of their songs. The way Daniel Ash used guitar effects and tone as part of the performance was light-years beyond what most guitarists still manage to this day. The music melds this swirling, atmospheric quality with very distinctive rhythm, reminding me of a mountain: its foundation is cragged and concrete, but the peaks are enshrouded in endlessly swirling, shapeshifting fog banks.

And don't even get me started on Peter Murphy's vocal performance! So haunting the hair on my toes starts slithering in my socks. Just love this song.
