If you want a Flappy Bird remake, wait until Jetpack Joyride does another edition of “Zappy Bird” it’s the closest thing of a Flappy Bird game, but less tedious, useful gadgets, etc. or simply use the Profit Bird.

Trade marks and copyrights are different. Trade marks are names, logos and taglines which die if not in use and copyright is for any creative work and can last until the creators death unless it gets renewed.

It is also shady that Dong out of the blue shutted down Flappy Bird. It seems like he took the concept of the game from Piou Piou Vs cactuses, creator without permission and for that reason he removed it from apple / play store.

On the other hand, the new owners of Flappy have brought the creator of Piou Piou to the team and the team behind has produced other successfull mobile games in the past.
