Thank you for taking the time to share your insight. Obviously I was looking at low energy/low cost ideas for heating to find this but I think I will stick to wearing layers, warm socks, blankets and hot water bottle’s. We’re in a bungalow so no too bad as we had the walls insulated a few years back and it really makes a difference. Will put heating on for an hour in morning and an hour in evening if extremely cold. Plus stop everywhere getting damp. We’re from 🇬🇧 and generally our winters are mild compared to USA. We all just need to find what’s best for each situation . My friend bought me some long knitted fingerless gloves so keeps my hands wrists warm as I have arthritis so they will definitely come in handy 😊Good luck to everyone, look out for each other especially now! ❤

Thanks for your review! I was tempted to buy the Alpha heater, but I wondered how such a tiny heater could heat an entire room. I bought several of the portable Blaux air conditioners, and they work great for my needs. I wasn’t aware that they now have heaters, but I’ll sure check them out now.

One of the saddest things about our educational system is that they make almost no attempt to teach physics, which results in a population that knows almost nothing about how things work. In a space heater, electricity flows through a special wire, called an element. The element converts the electrical energy into heat. And because it is simple physics, there are some very simple rules that apply to this conversion. The number of watts that the heater uses is in direct proportion to the amount of heat generated. The only variable is in the delivery system, which is the fan. And the laws of physics apply here as well. If a fan is powerful, it may push out a large volume of air, but at a lower temperature than one that pushes out less air but at a higher temperature. In both cases, the total amount of heat is exactly the same for both heaters, only the distribution is different. So all this hype about some fantastic new scientific discovery from NASA to heat an average room by several degrees in a few minutes with some tiny little heater is BS. (Bad Science), and nothing more.

I bought a 200 watt personal heater. Haven't used it yet. Got it to see if it will work on one of my solar battery generators guess I should do that. Anything that advertises on YouTube like the Alfa heater. The same voice actor, the same script almost, I stay away from. It makes me angry that YouTube allows scams but truth they block.

All heaters are 100% efficient. The amount of heat you get depends on the watts the heater draws - the higher the watts, the more heat you get. That's it.

2 of my favorite heaters are vintage Markel 198 electric space heater for small rooms . And a Walmart Soleil 200 watt ceramic heater for warming my feet while sitting . Before that i pre heat my shoes with hair dryer and thick socks with thick sherpa pull over when inside my home .

Cool, I mean warm 😊 the alpha heater draws 650 watts on low & 1200 watts on high . The heater you recommend 400 watts . Sounds good to me . Thank you !

It said that it would heat up one room up to 500 square feet and why didn’t you give the test results from the heater you don’t recommend and only the recommend one so I’m only convinced that you benefit from pushing the one heater over the other one 😅

Bought one put it to the test on a 10x8 restroom and didnt impress me. When i opened the box there was an advertisement page that read "keep cozy in that cold corner of your room" or something along those lines i knew i had been scamed.

The best heaters are oil filled radiant heaters, and you can get $70 units at your local auctions for $10.
