Earth vs Kepler 452b - The comparison
Показать описание
A comparison between our Earth and the new discovered planet Kepler 452b in terms of masses, dimensions, orbits details and distances.
I want to emphasize that this video is ONLY A SIMULATION, a rapresentation of Kepler 452b, nothing real.
Probably Kepler 452b doesn't has water in liquid form or it's covered by volcanos. The planet in fact, according to the models and the measures, is in the habitable zone but this doesn't confirm it has all other conditions to host life as we know it.
🌌 KEPLER 452b
(sometimes nicknamed Earth 2.0) is an exoplanet orbiting the G-class star Kepler-452. It was identified by the Kepler space telescope, and its discovery was announced by NASA on 23 July 2015. It is the first potentially rocky super-Earth planet discovered orbiting within the habitable zone of a star very similar to the Sun.
The planet is about 1,400 light-years away from the Solar System. At the speed of the New Horizons spacecraft, about 59,000 km/h (37,000 mph), it would take approximately 26 million years to get there.
