DELHI: ANTI-NARCOTICS TASK FORCE SEIZES 30 KG OF ALPRAZOLAM WORTH ₹1 CRORE, FOUR ARRESTED

The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Delhi Police busted a drug racket on Tuesday, seizing 30 kilograms of Alprazolam pills worth around ₹1 crore in the international market. Four suspects were arrested, and three motorcycles used for drug transportation were also seized.The operation began after ANTF received intelligence from HC Deepak Parewa and ASI Naresh Kumar about a drug shipment near Sonia Vihar, Delhi. Under the supervision of ACP Anil Sharma and led by Inspector Praveen Rathi, the team intercepted two motorcycles near Pushpanjali Estate on 30 Feet Road in Sonia Vihar.Two suspects, 32-year-old Laxman and 18-year-old Pankaj, were caught with 27 kilograms of Alprazolam pills hidden in boxes on their motorcycles. The remaining suspects were later arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
