Why do some of these commenters think people in potentially dangerous situations are just mindlessly leaving their alarms or pepper spray in a bag? Everyone I know has it at the ready when there's the slightest chance they'll need it. My mom's stressed that to me and my sisters our entire lives.

I have a different version of this from a different manufacturer that was a gift. It also requires 2 hands to activate because they want to be sure it does not go off in your purse while you are searching for lipstick etc. because it is deafening. Just something to take into consideration given the comments about having to use 2 hands.

To all the people who are saying this isn't very loud, I just covered my speaker and tested it and it was plenty loud. It startled me even with the speaker covered so I can only imagine how loud it would actually be.

genuine question but has it actually work for anyone?? because the sound is wayyy too similar to a car alarm sound and i definitely know people will just ignore it/i have ignored car alarms before

What does a user do if the alarm is going off and they're getting stabbed with no one around to aid them ?? Might as well make a legit ad, like this device will help authorities track down your lifeless corpse. To even think this is safer than a stungun or pepper spray is absolutely insane. Crazy talk.
