15th BRICS Summit | Dr Thapelo Tselapedi weighs in on BRICS expansion

It's the final day of the 15th BRICS Summit taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre north of Johannesburg.

Egypt has the Suez Canal. The Chinese are looking at geo strategic locations. Egypt also has a abundance of natural gas. Argentina has oil, natural gas, lithium ( for electric vehicles batteries) beef, wheat, corn ect. Saudi Arabia and UAE are oil and gas rich but the market for oil and gas will become minuscule over the next ten years. Ethiopia is a major producer of electricity. Electricity is more crucial than oil or gas in this era.

Where did he get his degrees from? Ethiopia is a LANDLOCKED country and can only trade via Kenya or the Port of Djibouti.

Kenya is the ONLY economy in the East and Central and the Horn of Africa that has Diplomatic, Technological, Economic and Political power!

KENYA would give BRICS a real trading advantage in the Horn and East & Central Africa. Even Ethiopia relies on Kenya.

I thought BRICS was serious, what a JOKE with characters like Abiy who is causing instability in Ethiopia!
