This is the only reliable fix that I've found that works with my current grade. Thank you so much!

Also I dont see a change in Mac but I see a change in iPhone after airdropping, is there a fix for that. I see it becomes more saturated and blues become more green.

Oooh, that switch to timeline on the colour page for editing colours for an entire timeline is something I was not familiar with :o

I know there is another, cleaner solution than using the weirdly specific Rec709-A colour space, I did it a couple months back but apparently didn't document properly. Will try to find it and hopefully get back.

Most colourists say to keep the timeline work space to Davinci WG/Intermediate when you are converting and working on Davinci WG/Intermediate. But now if we change to Rec 709 A won't it cause an issue?

Great video! However, the last step didn’t quite work for me - I’m still getting washed-out colors, even though I followed your instructions to save my previous grade. Any idea what I might be missing?

This is great - is it worth using RED 709-A in the Gamma tag in advanced settings in the Deliver/export page as well?

Hi, congratulations for the video it's very clear. I had a question about it, I work with a Mac and an external monitor calibrated in range 2.4, On daVinci I work by setting the color space in rec 709 range 2.4. For the gamma shift problem the exported files are more faded, if I used the Mac monitor I would use rec-A; but since I use an external monitor (so it can't be set in rec 709) how do I have the same result between the preview and the exported files? I know that the problem is Quick time, but anyway if I upload them on YouTube I see the same problem.

Thank you very much, sorry to bother you.

Will this change affect how other device view our videos tho? Like now because we see the more washed out version in Davinci directly, maybe after we color-grade the video it'll be over-saturated on other devices? If what's in DaVinci Resolve's monitor is showing what's others are going to see then having this video a little washed out on my own laptop is a small sacrifice I'm willing to make
