DJI FPV Drone | My First FPV Experience

After nearly a week of rainy days and running the DJI flight simulator app for practice, I was ready to finally take flight and hopefully not crash. Using the DJI motion controller was amazing and very easy to learn. Thanks to Freewell for letting me test out their new ND filters that really helped make the 4K 60fps look much better on bright sunny days.

In the gain and expo settings, turn off attitude limit. From there you’ll be spiraling and flipping all day. Love the content.

i did go from a dji air 2 to the dji fpv, I was going to fly the sim first but it did not work so I just flew it in real life and im getting good. doing loops, flips, rolls

You can't fly on train tracks, and on inhabited centers!

Dude, Manual mode cannot be activated from controller by default as a safety mechanism, you have to go into your settings in the googles and activate it there... look at some tutorials to activate it, I can't tell you the steps because I'm flying Sports mode until I'm ready for the next step, so I haven't don't this myself, although I've seen countless videos explaining how to do it.

Great video and I had a similar feeling of apprehension and buyers remorse on my first simulator flight. I even experienced motion sickness using the regular controller. After switching over to the motion controller - WOW!! My first real flights went great. I may never go full on manual FPV but Sport mode is fun for me. Thanks for the video.

Is it possible to invert the controls? For example, pulling the throttle stick would make it go up and pushing it would make it go down? Thanks.

I saw in another review video (can’t remember where exactly) that there is a stick adjustment on the controller for manual mode. You remove a cover on the back and turn the adjustment screws.

This allows the stick to move freely and not “spring” back to the neutral position like a standard drone.

Maybe this is causing the error on your end?

The other options that you might’ve messed will be in controller settings you can change the mode all the way to manual because when you get it out of the box manual is still sport mode you have to go in and switch it in the menu

It’s in the settings, you can go in there and where are you change your rates for the controller there is the option to Change attitude. That will give you the ability to have full acro

Turn off altitude limit off in headset, I think its where the rates are then you will be able to flip
