Thanks for keeping this stuff alive in memory. So many lost tracks here in the states with little or no documentation in the last 50 years. You are doing good work.

That Ardun headed car would have been a big dollar thing. Those heads were extremely rare back then and original sets are even rarer today. Only approx 230 sets in the late 1940's were made and they were very expensive so to see a set in Australia in the early 1950's being used in club level racing is amazing.

I grew up just around the corner from the Airfield, or as we called it the Airodrome, in the sixties, so I missed all this action………The Cemetery was just down the road, so you didn’t have far to go if you came to grief. !!
