I like the idea of covering budget tvs. A lot of reviewers just focus on covering the higher end of tvs, but most people typically spend much lower amounts on tvs.

Great review I have one of these in a kids bedroom. In my opinion if you wanna game don’t even think about this TV, but overall it’s outstanding for streaming or OTA everyday content. It’s cheap and most should know walking in not to expect all the bells and whistles. Spot on review Tech Steve

just picked up a 55 inch for $220 us, I have two monitors that are twice the price for gaming. I wanted this for ease of use with parties and just movie watching. Exactly what I wanted to hear and stoke to let you know what I think.

I appreciate the honesty. Sometimes you want the best bang for your buck. You mentioned the game mode and movie modes and this was the most important detail, since Best Buy has it at an attractive price right now.

I live Dallas and I saw thisnguy was selling 2 Fire TVs for $75 both 55 inch. I purchased them both one was a newer Insignia Fire TV. I plugged it in to set it up. I couldn't beleive how good the picture quality was. The picture quality was amazing. Very close to QLED

I got a new 70" F30, for free. It's hanging in my bedroom, and I like it just as much as my Samsungs that cost (retail) 3-4x as much.
Sure it can't compete in clarity or blacks, but it's got great sound, and good enough picture quality.

Never mind I bought this tv but with 1080p resolution just for composite inputs which means, I’m glad I got this tv for retro gaming.

Bruh what a great review. You went beyond and over on this man. I got this set for my Mom but I couldn't tell what color profile it uses but thanks to you I know it's an SDR I wish I could select choose 4:4:4 chroma whenever possible. Thanks to what you were doing on the picture settings and advance settings I saw why I couldn't get a colorful picture as the previous TV was a plasma. Those advanced settings except for the Local Enhance Contrast and Dynamic Contrast were pretty useless especially Super Resolution that one was a huge disappointment. Maybe if the set had bt2020 color profile I could play around with it oh well. I chose PC mode with customized color and tint. It sucks I can't have more than one preset.

The 43” 4k version of this tv is on sale for $150 right now I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it. Cheapest 4k I’ve ever seen!

I wanted a cheap 4k tv to watch stuff and be on my computer. i got the 43 inch version. Especially when i plan to move around alot. I wanted to get the 58 inch but it looked like a pain to box up and carry around once a year or 2. 43 felt like a good balance.
Picture is good, not amazing but it does the job well.
