USB-C to MagSafe Adapter

It's possible to charge your MacBook without needing the original power brick, and as a bonus, you can charge the laptop from any 12V battery or portable power generator using the supplies below.

All you need is the following:

Connect all the adapters in a sequence (Power Supply - DC - USB-C - Magsafe - Laptop). Congratulation, you now have an on-the-go charging solution.

* Magsafe has various generations (1, 2, and 3 as of right now), so make sure to get the correct version for your device.

** The power supply must be rated for at least 100W or more, depending on how much your laptop needs, and also make sure to set the correct charging voltage for your laptop, in this case, the original charger is rated for 20V.

I ordered a mag safe 1 connection from someone off ebay and they sent me the mag safe 2 by mistake. It took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did I couldn't even use it. I will try a different company.

In my own case, my macbook rating is 16.5V === 3.65A max. Can I safely use a charger (power bank) rated 18V - 20V === 4.5A max?
