Blind Cow Lost Her Favorite Ball

Because Faith is blind, she can't always find her ball quickly. This ball means the WORLD to her so we make sure it's nearby and ready for her nuzzle.

By the time we rescued her from the dairy industry, she had conjunctivitis that had gone untreated, which caused her to lose her eyesight. But with us, Faith has found a forever home, the best care, friendship, a love for music, and comfort in her beloved giant bouncy ball.
She treats it like her adopted baby, rests her head on it, licks it like she’s giving it a bath, and sleeps with it. When she can’t find it, she cries for it and the other cows will bring it to her if we don't get to it first. We're so honored to give her the environment and love she deserves.

My dad has a blind cow. He said he thinks she can maybe see shadow and light but not much more. I think some farmers would get rid of disabled cattle, but my dad always says that everything deserves its chance. When I was a kid he'd always bring injured wild animals home. Some lived and some died, but whether they left this life or left our house in the end, they were warm and fed when they were under our roof. ❤

Grew up in Connecticut & used to constantly bug my parents while driving to stop wherever the cows were)which, was everywhere in CT) so I could be with them & pet them. This made me cry. I grew up on a 202 acre working farm. Cows are super emotional I can't tell you how many times our herefords would just come up and lay their head on you and give you the biggest hug I miss that so much
