Just making sure all I have to do is download the app, put the light bulbs in the already existing sockets, and then connect each bulb with the app. No need to buy an extra component to wire through the house.

Hello from New York City! The home does not have a WiFi hotspot, can this smart bulb connect to the smart phone app using a direct wifi connection between the bulb and phone? Thank you for your informative video.

Halfway through the video so I apologize if you mention it but aside from the color changes and brightness levels are you able to tell Alexa to turn the light on and off? And thus freeing my smart plugs for something else?

I have 4 C by GE Bulbs color they’re quite heavy much heavier than incandescent bulbs
