Oh hey thanks for that! It mau actually be SoundSource that is rerouting it correctly then! Good to know you got yours working at least.

Thanks for the workaround. I can confirm it did NOT work using system preferences. But it DID work after installing soundsource, and switching inputs using soundsource.

I tried using system preferences which didn't work after many attempts. I then downloaded Soundsource and got my audio through my headset fine.
