Why am I hyperventilating? As if I had been struck in the chest and caught by surprise? Why did this story disturb me so? Is it because of my fondness for Tails?

I am not tails, yet, he had been my friend, my buddy for so long. We had been through a lot together, he and I. He was never just a character in a game to me.

Not him.

He had always been special. He had a troubled youth, lost much that he loved. I could sympathize. I had been the same. Yet he always remained positive. Always willing to help, and to be there for his friends. I draw inspiration from him.

Yet this shook me, as if I witnessed the death of my closest friend. It hurt. It was traumatizing. I would have willingly taken his place.

Tails is special to me. I won't bring myself to neglect him and exploit the game, even if is just a game.

That was actually much more sad than creepy. Tails is one of my all-time favorite game characters :(
