One thing I have learnt from this movie is the blessings of the Lord happen suddenly but the preparation to the blessing doesn't happen suddenly.

Spiritual eyes are needed even as a wife. The spiritual antenna should always be connected to God. The wife part was a serious lesson for all young ladies. Never leave your gate unguided.

Everytime you tolerate one sin the others follow just like if u open a door for one sin the rest will follow
Always stay in council of people u look like if uo a Christian have christian friends n also do not admire those people you see successful in ministry you might not want to pay the price the paid or even the sacrifices they offered for their ministry to be a success mostly the youth who are desperate to make ministry work by all means
For everything you do let the Lord be at the centre once he's out of uo business u are on your own
For the men always pay attention to what uo wife says coz she's uo helper moreso God given This lady always ignored by tye husband never taken serious

My Review for the movie "Prophet Suddenly"

I totally give it to Laurel Olu-Egbor for acing her role as Miokukusese and arguably winning best actor in this movie.

This movie is a blessing to the body of Christ.

Leaving us with the question "If God does not give you, will you take it?"

So many angles to look at this story from.

"What is that thing of this world that we want and still want Jesus?"

"I want to dress indecently but still want Jesus"

"I want to be a corrupt politician, but still want Jesus"

So many lessons to pick from this very inspiring movie.


The Prophet's wife- Is it okay to say she was weak?

What could have been expected of her at such instance?

I would say, not noticing the difference in her husband's sudden prophetic gift, mode of prayers, attitude of pride etc before she became known as "first lady" showed signs of weak discernment.

Things changed that night her husband came back home running in with stories of robbery and that night was too significant to not note it as a transition point.


The Prophet : May we not desire anything more than God. So sad how the seemingly fallow desires of this man Michael was what the enemy played on. You see a lady on the road consistently, she tells you something no one would randomly say 'Go to your wife who is starving you', receptionists can't see who you are walking with but your ego is too fragile to permit this probing. Same ego played out when he was embarrassed by the words of wisdom by Apostle Arome which led him to lose his only son and church members.

When God says DIE TO FLESH, these are the issues and more, God help us.


CK: Why would a married man hang out with a single man till late and his wife never saw any wrong and even entertained it?


Why also would anyone know you better than your wife? As was in the case of Michael

CK was bad company. So strange that someone with CKs thought patterns was the person Michael chose to hang around with, preaching the sermon of fidelity. It's easier to be pulled down than to pull someone up. If you have no strength to pull up, jejely step aside.

So many angles to the movie I have not touched, but overall... This is a breakthrough to our gospel movies.

Thank you for making it real, thank you for not holding back, and oh! I cannot forget!


Apostle : I don't know who would have done better with this role. Great demeanor, loving heart for Christ. It was how he cast out the demon without raising his voice and fire burned her for me.
