Remember vividly walking with the best of from this album in my headphones over the Karlsbrücke in Prague in the winter of 1998... It was early in the morning, and there were more hungry birds than tourists to be seen. Maybe that was because it was minus 11° Celsius. There was just a hint of snow and some mist, giving everything a somewhat mysterious look. Everything seemed warped and odd things seemed to be possible at every moment.... Sinister Heydrich's Mercedes driving all of a sudden over the bridge, or a coughing Mozart in his frivolous clothes hurrying from the opposite side to the royal palace, I don't know.... (In the end, I had to settle for two Father Christmasses walking towards the commercial streets) Ha, in those days, the prices in the Czech capital still were surprisingly low for someone coming from "the West", about 10 years after the wall came down.
