Just For Men Control GX Grey Reducing Shampoo Test and Review

In this video I take a look at the Just For Men Control GX Grey Reducing Shampoo. I document my results and give my opinion on this product.

This product is made to gradually reduce grey hair in your hair and beard. Overall I thought the product worked pretty well and my only complaint was it did stain my hands no matter how carefully I followed the directions and washed my hands.

I noticed that my hair and beard did see a reduction in grey hair after only 5 uses.

For those wanting to use this. Buy a scalp massager for use in the shower, apply the product directly to that to avoid hand staining.

Purchased their beard only product based on this vid. Though, go by other Amazon reviews left the product on for longer than directed. Am very happy with results, the fact that some grey remains gives a very natural look. I have turned back the clock by about 10 years!

I'm a bit late to the video, but thanks for this. I've been contemplating possibly utilising this shampoo after I'd scared myself walking past a hall mirror and catching myself out of the corner of my eye thinking I'd seen my grandad back from the dead.

MY HONEST EXPERIENCE:
Week 1: I was very excited to make this product work. I used it everyday for 5 minutes. I did wear gloves to avoid coloring my fingers.
Week 2: Not too excited, product didn’t do much, just changing the grey hair a little.
Week 3: I was losing hope in this product, but I kept using it. I was starting to realize that this product was going to change just a little my gray hair, my hair was darker but still noticeable grey hair.
Week 4: by the end of this week I realized that this product work, hiding my gray hair the way I wanted, it really covered.

In the first 25 days I was thinking a lot what other comments mentioned about the previous formula being better and that this current formula wasn’t that good. I don’t know about that, I am happy with this product, I just bought a second bottle to have it ready when I finish the first bottle.
Just be patient and you will see the results.
I have black hair. I did change my color to a darker black, but not too dark. Now I am using it twice a week to keep the color I want.

I don't have the patience with this product. I used it multiple days and I didn't see any changes. If feels kinda "scamy" or "weak." Maybe I needed to use it for the long haul but I couldn't wait for this thing to finally kick in. I'm rolling into my mid 40's and the white hairs are coming in so this is all new to me.

I used this product. It does slowly darken your hair. It also caused horrible exma and psoriasis on my scalp and started thinning my hair and I was losing hair. No more of this product for me since last summer unless I want to lose my hair

Don't use the new formula, it gives your hair a ginger tinge. Been using this product for years with great results but since they changed to a new formula the results a terrible. Bring back the old formula. Read a lot of reviews recently and everyone says the same.

I have been an avid user of Control GX grey reducing shampoo for a couple of years no. Always happy with the results. HOWEVER I recently used Control GX with conditioner. Instead of my hair going the usual dark grey colour, it went to an awful light brown . dark blond hue. I immediately returned to my normal ( without conditioner) shampoo but this awful light brown./dark blond colour persists. Any suggestions ? This has never happened before.

A bit late but I recommend just using touch of grey hair dye first. Go a shade less than your natural color (ie real black looks very fake) leave in full 5 minutes. Very good instant results. Then u can just use the coloring shampoo a couple of times a week to maintain the color. This is the quickest and least hassle free way to keep some of the grey away.

This product contains PPD (p-phenylenediamine) which some people may be allergic to, especially if they've previously reacted badly to black henna.

Good vid. I would like to know how little is needed to do one session. I don't have a beard so it shouldn't be too much as for stains just grab a pair of black latex gloves from your toolbox. It's been a few years so Simple Man are you still using it?
