Prayers and hopes that all stay safe to the families and to all their pets who are impacted, also to the Emergency Services personnel who are working this disaster. 😢😢😢

Makes absolutely no sense that there isn't a shut off valve downstream. C'mon guys, sounds like BS.

Who wants to live near a pipeline??? 😮 Do your research before buying a home.👍

I've been telling people since 1995 that gas is too dangerous to use within 2 miles of a residential zone. But everybody says oh it's perfectly safe.

I bet that scared all the deer in Deer Park.

I want to know what was up with that car right next to the explosion. It’s like, the only thing really close to it. Forgive me if they mentioned it in the video, but what the fk could that car possibly be doing out there? I feel like they had to have hit something. The car is right by the gates and the front of the car is messed up. So I would think, it hit something, the pipe exploded, and pushed the car back.

How does no one know how many are without power ?? It's like 1955 utilities in Texas

So... N0 cut-off safety valves between the source and this fire ? 🤷🏻‍♂️

John Wayne and the Hellfighters would have already put the fire out and having dinner. LOL

This is devastating. My heart goes out to the misplaced families and the aftermath they are about to face. This is no laughing matter. 😢

It should never take this long, to shut off any kind of pipeline.

Did we run out of questions? That's a first.
Either the schools are not teaching journalism or the student's aren't learning how to ask a common sense question.

No safety valves, no barrier protection. This better get really ugly.

Hopefully everyone affected near this gas pipeline take there pets .i dont see why they don’t let one person per house stay an water down an around house so the firefighters can keep an eye better on area to save all homes

could have been a pipeline employee working on, or reporting to check

Now they will have an excuse to raise gas prices higher.

That whole stretch is smoldering as well.

Uh... Something is wrong with that. Natural gas does not burn with that much black smoke! That is not "JUST" natural gas, unless its unrefined maybe.

This failure to shut down a pipeline for HOURS is exactly why pipelines are opposed. It is unacceptable - if this were oil rather than LNG, miles of land would have been soaked in oil. These companies must do better. Sure hope Energy Transfer does right by these victims. Their houses will have internal damage in the walls from the heat, electrical and pipes may be invisibly damages due to the intense fire temps. That damage could cause homeowners problems months from now if their homes are not condemned.
