Thanks for checking in on ‘our’ property and posting too.

When our son was born, I opened a custodial account at Computershare and started investing an “allowance” in it regularly on his behalf as soon as I had his brand new SSN. It’s 12 years and a month since then and we continue to reinvest the dividends.
O was my best idea in 2012 and I have the utmost faith I’m doing the right things for him.

He does get a ‘supplemental’ allowance now, so he can figure out the value of a dollar. He’s doing pretty well and asks questions - and I love it!

Anyway, just wanted to spell this all out. I think I’ll copy this to a note, with this URL to see what inspired me to comment.

Ian, when you look at your portfolio by sector, do you consider REITs as “real state” or, when possible, the industry related (for O “consumer services”)?
