I love the idea of using curves and hue/sat to light the scene. If you're going for a quick look, it'll be close enough to a graded scene! Thanks a lot

Once again, you are a saviour! After clicking around and scratching my head for... well long enough to drink a coffee, 1 minute into your video I've discovered how to change the direction of the light. Thank you.

1:53 Actually here, to change the strength if u adjust the exposure in render setting>color management it would be more realistic

Thank you... spent quite a while trying to figure this out from navigating around Blender, but couldn't find it. I used to know how a few years back but had forgotten.

This is one of those great little videos where you revisit something simple but with new ideas. For some reason it never occurred to me to use nodes to edit my HDRIs. 😂

Thank You Ryan. Do a video on how to remove HDRI reflections from a object using nodes as well. Sometimes you want only lighting from the HDRI. It will help someone in the future. Thank you in advance.

Excellent tutorial, Ryan, as always. Yes, using lighting only from an HDRI works well. The problem I have is that I want to use an HDRI as my background: In particular, I want to place my model in an HDRI room. But it always winds up looking like it's floating in the middle of the room, and I can't seem to find a way to "put it on the floor." I have tried adjusting the Z location, but that alters the perspective, making it unusable. Do you have a solution? Thanks!

Is there a way to use an hdri of indoor lighting to light an enclosed/interior in blender?

Very good tut. Thanks for that. One question: is there a way to change the default HDRI when choosing the "Material Preview" mode?
