Lemme guess, half of Boker is mainly made up as an affordable brand, but includes cheap materials like D2, 440 and cheap aluminum. If only they actually updated to better standards, and improve the famous Kalashnikov series.

With kershaw giving you D2 for 10 dollars more on a cross bar lock that boker is a bit of a stretch.

I know it's not made anymore but the broker at the centre was an epic knife! The lines the blade geometry everything was just gorgeous. I made a mistake and sold mine a while back and am still carrying around that remorse

My big problem with Bowker and some of the some of the gentleman's knives and stuff like that or the lack of good materials I would be much happier and much more than willing to buy their knives and spend a little more if they would just put in a little bit better material

440B is a poor steel. For 40 bucks you can have 14C28N.

Boker makes poorly made knives. I had 3 and all were complete junk, from mis-match blade grinds. Blasting media actually falling out of the knife upon opening the blade. Lastly the uncentered blade in the handle when closed, and no adjustment can fix it. Avoid at all costs.
