This was my favourite hymn when I first got saved in 1979, and still is. I miss the churches where everyone sang out from Great Hymns of the Faith, had an on point song leader and a wonderful piano player. I live in the UK now, and this type of song service is absolutely non existent - in my area, and in any area I have visited. Every church I have visited people mumble through Mission Praise choruses and Hill Song stuff on a screen. No hymn books, no song leader, no one playing the melody... it really makes me long for the early days of my salvation. If you have a church where the song service is like this one, thank God for it. I'm grateful I can join in online.

This hymn is so fun to sing in a congregation with a big choir, a pipe organ and piano accompanying BUT this hymn also has a wonderful (no pun intended) message.

Absolutely, especially when they sing them over and over, there is no meaning to them. But hymns are so meaningful and glorifying to our Saviour. As these days are getting so dark, come Lord Jesus come.

This was one of my favorite hymns to sing when I joined the choir in my church when I was about 14. I sang bass and I loved the bass line. I love even more the message of this song. This rendition takes me back to my youth in the Baptist church I grew up in. Thanks so much for keeping these wonderful songs alive!

Bravo—magnificently performed by all—hats off especially to the music director and the phenomenal pianist !!! Wow God bless this ministry in keeping these hymns alive—/there is a deep desire in my heart to be instrumental in RESURRECTING this type of church music..churches these days that have abandoned this type of message in song are missing a crucial part. Thank you so much for this—I have played it over and over and the beauty of it brings tears to my eyes ❤
