How To Sow Winter Flowering Pansies

This video shows you how to sow pansies which will flower in your window boxes, hanging baskets and containers in the spring. We sowed ours in late summer so that they would have time to establish a good root system before the winter. If they get frosted over the winter and look as if they have died don’t throw them away as they usually perk back up again when the better weather comes. If you plant up a lot of spring containers it makes economic sense to save money and sow seed rather than buying bedding plants.
