Now that you’ve tested several wearables, which do you prefer as a person with a loss of center vision?

It would be a good idea to create one like this for people whom are both deaf and blind. Maybe it could read their sign language and translate it to audio. It could vibrate different ways to tell them when it works or other functions.

I have worked in the education system for almost 30 years as a teacher and as a principal, I have a PhD in pedagogy, but I have rarely met someone who coordinates all the performance details so well.

I have similar visual difficulties as you described in your case, and therefore, I am thrilled with the aids you represent, especially with the Envision Glasses (although I also like the Aceseidhe VR from Zoomax, where language is not important to me).

I am interested in whether there is support for other languages in Envision Glasses, besides English, for example, the Croatian language?

Nice review Sam. Informative as usual.

I have been very interested in the glasses for sometime. However, I don't think the features justify the price since the app performs the same functions as the app.

I would like a feature that would better describe a scene as I am out wandering around streets. I occasionally get turned around on walks and it would be great if it could sync with google maps that can assist with getting around.

Also I'd like it to help identify cars, bikes, and people and dogs walking by me on walks. I've had some close calls while crossing the street as I can't always hear a car.

I kind of want the text to let me do word search quickly like checking for key words in paper docs or for looking for labeled items like book spines or food. Like key word twizzlers and it high lights the twizzlers text.
