Is Minato Tsunades son?

Did Tsunade, the fifth hokage, have a secret child that carries the Senju bloodline? Is her child Yamato or better yet Minato? Is Naruto part Senju? Would Boruto and Saradas child have all four bloodlines?

I have a different theory. Minato is Tobirama's great grandson. My theory is based on the fact that Tobirama, Minato and Naruto have the same exact physical traits, nobody knows how Minato learned the flying thunder god technique, and reanimated Tobirama's weirdly placed inner monologue displaying a sense of pride that those two perfected techniques he created. Not to mention that Asura's reincarnation had always been a Senju. If I recall correctly, Tsunade NEVER had children, not even in secret. She was strictly opposed to bringing children into their world.

A few pieces to help with the Minato theory. Hashirama had 3 children and the middle child, the more known of them, was the father of Tsunade. It is also a slight coincidence that her moms maiden name is non other than Namikaze. It is stated that towards the end of the second war she was pregnant but is never really said what happens with the child. The big theory is that when she gave birth, she couldn’t bare trying to raise the child after the death of Dan and simply gave the child to her parents to raise and her mother being a birth namikaze would explain why Minato is one. Also, if you look back on the pain arc, when jiraiya and tsunade are talking on the bench.. he makes the comment “I’m no parent. But if I had a son like Minato, I’d be proud of him.” Immediately after making this remark, tsunades full expression changes and you can see it on her face. Dan and Minato look a lot alike and Naruto and Nawaki look a lot alike……. Food for thought.

Minato and Nawaki looking scarily similar makes so much sense now now that I think about the possibility of Minato being her son. And why she saw so much of Nawaki AND Dan in Naruto. And if this is true, Naruto calling her Granny Tsunade just becomes even funnier.

You know naruto does call her grandma throughout the entire series. Yeah obviously it could just be because of her age but it could also be kishimoto throwing that hint our way

Who the child is aside: this is actually possible, if you look at Failed-Parent-Hiruzen and how NO ONE seems to know that Asuma is his child AND that he has another child because Konohamaru didn't just grow out of a tree (most likely, although we have no proof.) It definitely is within the realm of possibly for characters to have children that we just don't know are their children.

I just cannot see her abandoning Dans son, loving someone so much you never "love" again, there is just no way she would abandon Dan's child. More believable if it wasn't his son.

Dan had really high chakra levels according to the wiki so combine that with senju chakra and you have near endless chakra enough to do flying raijin and rasengan over and over and over he also possesed wind and fire style along with yin and yang who also had those four minato both also dreamed of being hokage and deeply cared for the village

Minato was born when Tsunade was 14 years old, Dan would've been 17 at the time. Dan died when he was 27 years old, Tsunade being 24 and Minato being 10 at the time. Tsunade first met Dan after her brothers death, she is obviously NOT 14 at the time this happening as by the time of Dan's death we assume that they have been a couple for at least a few years not for a whopping ten years. So already by this logic we can deduce that it would be impossible for him to be their son by the timeline alone. But what if the timeline is just inconsistent and Kishimoto decided to do this later on in the series? I can debunk that argument too. If Tsunade and Dan were Minato's parents, Tsunade would've taken him with her after his death, she wouldn't have left him in the village. You see, she took Shizune, Dan's niece with her, possibly to care for her out of respect for Dan and taught her everything she knew. If she took Shizune with her, she would've also taken Minato with her. If she loved Dan and if Minato was her son she would've brought him a long for her journey out of respect for her love.

This is theory is an interesting one, and I can see how people like it, but it falls flat none the less. I will happy to discuss it with anyone who disagrees and has some points to bring up in the replies section

Could also be Hiruzen didn't think Tsunade was capable of raising a child in her current condition and told Tsunade the child died and hid the child away. It wouldn't be the first time Hiruzen hid the lineage of a child because he thought it was for the best.

Another point to go along with this is the only other person known to use Teleportation Jutsu (Flying Raijin) as their main Jutsu was Tobirama. And the only other people that were able to use several clones at a time as effectively as Naruto were Tobirama and Hashirama. Every other person shown to use clones only ever used one at a time or if they used multiple then they were basically bots. So it would make sense that they have Senju blood since Naruto and Minato both have high level of control over Jutsu created by Senju

I remember reading the Namikaze clan being an offshoot of the Senju.

Like Senju, Uzumaki, Namikaze are all decendants of Ashura

I think this makes sense because if the Senju are supposed to be the descendants of Asura it confirms Naruto being the next reincarnation of him

Dan Died in the 2nd war at age 27 (Tsunade was 24) but Minato die at 24 and if he was still alive at the end of the 4th war Minato would be 41 and Tsunade was 55 meaning she would of been 14 when she had him. So at the time of Dan death Minato was 10 years old.

I think it would be more likely if Minato was the son or grand son of the 2nd Hokage.

Plus during the whole war arc, they really highlight how the Senju and the Uchiha always fought, so it would make sense that Naruto would be somewhat related to the Senju to keep the flight between the two clans going
