FILM DESCRIPTION:
Former sportswriter Andy Farmer (Chevy Chase) and his secretly aspiring author wife, Elizabeth (Madolyn Smith), move to a small farm in Vermont so Andy can focus on writing a novel. They quickly realize that the locals are not as welcoming as they'd like and that the farm is more distracting than inspiring. Having trouble with his manuscript, and with his marriage on the rocks, Andy is forced to take hilariously drastic measures in an attempt to get his life back on track.

Funniest movie in history. Acting, script, camera work, characters, beautiful scenery.
Chevy didnt even have to speak, his facial expressions alone were hilarious. This one and so many more. Especially when Madolyn was on the typewriter and he was waiting with a bottle if whiskey the bedroom, his expression is priceless.
Madolyn Smiths timing as an actress was spot on.

Funniest scene in the entire movie. I can't see any other actor making as funny faces than Chevy Chase did when reacting to learning what it was he was eating. From his eyes, you could see his brain thinking about it as the waitress was explaining it. And the "clink" of the fork hitting the plate when he drops it. Yeah, funniest scene in the whole movie!!! HILARIOUS!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
