If he's attacking that much, he's likely bored. Up your play time - Jackson Galaxy has some great videos on how to chill out cats by playing with them until they are worn out. Keeps them happy and you scratch-free (hopefully!) Adorable boy :-)

He is adorable, and getting him a mirror of his own is a great idea, and giving him things which will stimulate his intelligence and keep him busy while you are at work will be fantastic. I had two female cats in my life, and they loved it when I would include them in my routine while I was getting ready for work. Of course I also got them toys which they loved playing with because the toys kept them stimulated and out of mischief.
