Polybrush is a fantastic tool for Unity, which you can use for level design, scattering prefabs, painting and sculpting meshes! In Unity 2019.2, Polybrush was added to the Package Manager, and introduced the Prefab Scatter mode!

Assets used in this video:

Polybrush enables you to blend textures and colors, sculpt meshes, and scatter objects directly in the Unity Editor.

Combined with ProBuilder, Polybrush gives you a complete in-editor level design solution. You can also take advantage of Unity’s seamless round-tripping with digital content-creation tools (like Maya) so you can further polish models with your favorite tools.

OH MY GOD! This literally made my MONTH! I thought of a project I wanted to do but since I'm not that good at modelling it would take ages to create each setting (they're like the planets in this case). And this tool is ALL I need. I mean it cuts my work in about 70%, which is insane!!! OMG I love Unity right now.

Having terrain brushes for any kind of mesh will allow so much original things to happen on Unity ! I don't know if I'll use it myself soon though, but we never know ^^

I was trying to make a project using a round planet and I was frustrated because it took so long to place these down.

Hope Unity can have more tool about low poly/polygon, the low poly scene is very easy to make and I love the low poly scene/game because it don’t need a high performance computer to run it and the polygon style scene are EPIC🔥Break the barrier of reality 🔥🔥🔥

Hope you still monitoring this post for features [as you requested] about what features could be "required" for game development.
I would say: "Paramount is the possibility to select neighbour planes [at once] and paint textures across them, e.g. then painting paths they will all add up.
