What you said about remembering childhood memories, is so true in my experience. My mom had dementia and talked about her childhood and early parts of her life so easily. But she couldn’t remember eating lunch or remember her children all the time. She didn’t talk like DT, all crazy or stuttering. But like his rallies, we’d have the same conversations over and over.

My grandmother was born in 1905 and had dementia in her later years. Couldn’t remember if she’d had breakfast but would tell stories of her early years like they happened last year. Her favourite story was about the first airplane coming to our town in wales in 1911. Or about watching her father go of to the First World War.

is leading Trump among rural voters. If that trend is actually predictive of what

My mom had Alzheimers. Her cognitive decline affected her short-term memory first. But she could remember her childhood in detail. I definitely see dementia.
