Ill give better instructions for the audience to fix the tension issues people are having. I thought the gas cylinder was seized and defective, but i don't like to return things until I've done everything possible to fix the issue I was having. Hopefully this is a little more detailed for my fellow viewers!

_Step 1:_ When you take the arms with the gas cylinder out, it will probably be at the stiffest/highest point. (Gonna have a hard time getting that Allen key in that specified spot) I couldn't adjust the tension either way without the monitors attached. Put the clamp on your desk and attach and secure your monitors to them. *You can try to put the arms on the mount without the monitors but, i felt like the weight of the monitors helped to counter balance the cylinder* .

_Step 2:_ You are gonna need to secure your monitors well because you are gonna have to force the gas cylinder down yourself with a little force (had my brother help hold the monitors still). Push it down as much as you can without damaging your monitors. *BUT BECAREFUL!!! If you do not do this right, the gas cylinder will shoot back up pinching the skin of your fingers!!!* When you reach the lowest point it should stay there but, still keep force on it just in case. Now you have plenty of clearance for the Allen key to work its magic.

_Step 3:_ Now you begin to release some of the tension. Its going to take a few minutes to get it to your desired liking. Got it too where the gas cylinder had a little play and wouldn't shoot back up.

Unfortunately this kind of mechanism won't work if your monitor is lighter than the bar that holds it on. I placed a 14-in touch screen on the stand and no matter how loose I make the tension it will still lift all the way up. Therefore if you have a monitor less than 5 lb then you'll have no way of lowering the angle up or down; it’ll always stay up.

The screw to tighten or loosen on my monitor arm isn’t doing nothing to the arm. I keep loosening it and nothing happens.

The second arm seems to be to tight and we can’t loosen it… in videos and manual it’s seems it’s supposed to come in already loose and later tightened… we turn towards the - but it never gets loose… idk what to do I’m thinking it’s faulty

It works but can't tilt up monitor it snap back in place?? It is as tight as can be

I just got this arm & the monitor im trying to mount on it is the omen27c, the arm goes up but also the screen doesnt hold into place it just keeps aiming downwards (well the screen)

I bought it and send it back coz I have Ikea Micke and the big hole makes it difficoult to coexist with your arm. Is there any solution for an arm based setup on a cable management hole model desk?

My monitor is small and light, so i just left the alan key in there after loosening it and its good enough i guess

I have a 31.5 inch 7.8kg curved monitor and the front screw that prevents that the monitor tilts forward can' hold it. I have tightend it as hard as I could but it keep tilting forward... what can I do ?

This product is awful, you literlaly cannot adjust the tension springs at all, your arm will stay stuck, easiest return of my life, waste of time and money AVOID THIS
