What it's like to have a Brother with Autism.

Hey guys, here with a short video I made about what it is like for me to have an older brother with autism, I hope you enjoy it and see how blessed I am to have Mitchel as my brother. I love him to death and I want everyone to see how awesome our bond is!

*note, every case of autism is different some more severe than others, not every autistic person is like my brother. This video speaks on behalf of my personal relationship with my brother.

The song used in this video is Always Gold by Radical Face, the song somewhat inspired me to make this video because it speaks of a tight lifelong bond between two brothers.

How could someone possibly dislike a video like this. This shows they have no heart.

You made me cry! Happy tears, though. My son has autism. He is 19 and is currently researching the church's view of autism and what they're doing for those in the church who have Autism/Asperger's. He's annoyed and frustrated to find that there's not much to be found on this subject. He likes the term "Aspies".. I've told him that God knew I needed him in my life. He is a such a blessing to me. You are great brothers and a shining example of how this should all work. Thank you for making and sharing your video. You're an inspiration, Sweetheart. I would love to see a series of these videos. With great affection and wishing you many blessings.

My brother has autism and he is the greatest person ever. He is loving and caring. I wouldn't trade him for anything

This means a lot to me because I have Autism (high-functioning) and its good to know that people like you are out there taking care of people like your brother. There are some people who don't understand how people like us are, and sometimes it is hard for us to express emotion so I am glad you have the ability to make him excited

You described it perfectly. The are the sweetest people you will ever meet. I wish I could meet Mitchel. He sounds like an awesome brother, and I know he is.

My brother has autism as well, our bond isn't the way yours is, due to my parent's parenting habits being less than acceptable, I have to parent my brother, and he really doesn't like me because of that, but I still know more about my little brother than any other person on earth, and I'm proud to say that.

My soulmate has "acquired autism" from brain damage he got when he was six months old. But love comes in all forms. He's the best person I can ask for, and I wouldn't change a single thing about him.

I'm a girl and I have a brother that's older than me he's 14 and I'm his little sister! I can relate to this soooo much! Sometimes I don't get along with my autistic brother. We would have lots of painful fights but I still love him and look out for him❤️ me and my little sis would look out for my big brother !! 😭 I love my autistic brother. I don't want my brother to be normal. I just love the way he is ☺️ I almost lost my sister in a elevator. Me and my family was going in the elevator and my sister was out of the elevator when I first thought of my little sis in the elevator I screamed so hard. I tried to squeeze my self and open the elevator and I screamed my little sister name so hard. I grabbed her and she cried in my arms 😭 I cried too! Guys always watch out for your brothers and sisters! Sometimes you can have fights but that does not mean you hate the sibling. Love your siblings take care of your siblings! Your brother and sister would always be there for you! Even if you ha

You are an angel! I hope my daughter keeps growing like that to my son (he is 8 1/2 years old with autism, and has been non-verbal his whole life until some months ago that had started to repeat some words when prompted). It was impossible to not cry with this adorable video. Thank you for being such a great human being... Thank you!
