What a joke 🤣 US and Nato are destabilising the world. With 400 over military bases in the world, China is a threat ? It's hilarious 😂

There is a country that is posting the largest threat to international order and peace. Guess which country this is?

1. Since its founding, this country has been in wars for 226 years out of 243 years. Even after it ceased combat actions in Iraq and Afghanistan recently in 2021, the country is still engaging in 3 ongoing conflicts - Yemen, Somalia, and Syria.

2. The various wars against terrorism engaged by this country caused close to a million deaths, including 0.4 million civilians. Some 38 million people primarily in Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen were displaced. If the victims caused by regime changes and colour revolutions instigated by the West are included, the casualty tallies will be much higher. The total price tag of war against terrorism is around USD 9 trillion, most of which has gone into the pockets of industrial-military complexes, which then funnel back the money to lobby for a higher defense budget and promote the ‘China Threat’ and ‘Russian Threat’ propaganda.

3. It has a staggering total of 750 military bases in over 80 countries around the globe. The country has +330 biological labs in 30 countries. It has the largest navy fleet inclusive of 11 aircraft carriers, representing over 23% of the global total.

4. Its defense spending in 2021 was USD 738 billion, surpassing the combined total of the next 13 nations of USD 729 billion.

5. It has been involved in meddling in foreign elections as well as inciting social unrests, regime changes and civil wars in foreign countries. According to one study, this country delivered > 80 covert and overt interventions in foreign elections during the period 1946-2000. Victim countries include Libya, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Panama, Haiti, Ethiopia, Angola, Argentina, East Timor, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Cambodia, Laos, Ukraine, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Albania, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, and so on.

6. This country has imposed economic sanctions on over 20 countries. Its various agencies including Treasury, BIS and State Department are involved in sanctioning thousands of foreign subjects, corporations and sovereigns. Its current sanction on Russia alone covers over 400 Russian individuals and entities, and more than 300 of its members. Some of these sanctions (for instance, Yemen, Afghanistan, Venezuela, and Cuban) have resulted in dire humanitarian crisis in the sanctioned countries, as even transactions involving life-saving medicines, medical supplies and vaccines are banned.

7. It has formed various military alliances (including NATO, AUKUS, RIO, Southeast Asia Treaty) as well as bilateral defense agreements with the Philippines, Japan, S Korea. Such alliances are a geopolitical threat to entangle and repress its adversaries politically, militarily and security-wise.

8. It has established with its allies non-inclusive technology and manufacturing alliances such as ‘Clean Network’, ‘Clean Telecomm Carriers’, ‘Supply Chain Alliance’. The purpose of which is to stifle key competing countries by non-market means such as subsidies, exclusion of certain entities, banning of technologies and supplies, etc.

If you set aside democracy and human rights as the center of foreign policy, as the commenter suggests, then what rationale would you have to seek a confrontation with China? I thought the whole thing about China was about democracy and human rights and not their economic strength or technological progress right? I thought this was about democracy vs autocracy right? If you have to set aside the principals democracy so you can have more allies to fight autocracy, what is the point? This narrative doesn't hold up.

It would mean that this isn't really about democracy or human rights but rather about maintaining US dominance no? You are essentially saying what is good for the US is good for the world no?

Someone dubbed foreign affairs “a poker game where everyone cheats.” Even if there is no cheating, it serves a player well to have a good poker face. ( unlike a previous administration where that president was showing his cards to the biggest shark at the table.)

And yet all the people who were responsible for destabilizing the world relationships in every way possible leading up now and further future chaos, will indeed go unpunished.

I like how they concern themselves with China, Russia taking over influence but don't look at what they've done recently
