Think we'd stop at the cow? Think again. There’s a new way to eat meat from plants, and it’s called #ImpossiblePork!

We’re Impossible Foods, and we make plant based meat. Our mission is to make the global food system truly sustainable by eliminating the need to make food from animals. It’s all delicious, nutritious, and made using a small fraction of the land, water, and energy that animal meat uses so people can keep eating the foods they love, without harming the planet they love.

Sounds good! Will the product be sold as "crumbles" only, or will Impossible porkburgers, pork-sausages and sausage links also be available?

48 million pigs slaughtered in Spain each year, more than the country's total population. 59 million pigs slaughtered in Germany each year, equating to 1 pig consumption per person for the three quarters of the population. Hopefully, these products are made available soon in Europe's two largest pork consuming countries.

You don’t say how you produce it, what’s in it or what the carbon footprint will be. I think you’re relying on selling it to people who don’t care enough to ask questions about whether this is actually ethical, but rather just impulse buy it in order to make themselves feel good.
