Lux Prima - Hurlants (Sans Beat)

Показать описание
In the Spring of 2022, Lux Prima embarked on a series of single releases which will form his body of work for 2022 and next in line for release is Hurlants.
Hurlants is a poem, a tone, a soothing noise, a quality of sound.
Hurlants is also a type of wind that you need to travel really far to feel.
A bona-fide legend of a wind, to tell you the truth, this is what Hurlants is.
And it comes in two versions to give the listener the choice to listen to their favourite. One is beatless and feels like an airy dream.
The other one carries an elusive beat to anchor that dream.
Like on its predecessors, Mount Analogue and We Shall Erupt, Lux Prima experiments here with all the tools available in his studio, digital effects and analogue synths alike, in a game of rhythms and textures, of energy and restraint. But for this, one he mainly used a peculiar machine called the Crumar BitOne.
Lux Prima is the alter ego of composer Jean-Gabriel Becker.
Aside from composing and producing music for film projects, being part of acclaimed house music duo JeanGa And George (Greco-Roman Records) and partnering with old friend Susumu Mukai as part of Becker & Mukai, he uses his Lux Prima persona to explore a more chaotic and experimental sound, where bruit and dissonance come to meet with beauty and harmony.
Hurlants was recorded and produced in a matter of hours in a spurt of creativity in the first days of the summer 2022 alongside Lux Prima's many other projects and is part of a bigger album project to be released throughout 2022. More is to come.
Hurlants was composed and produced by Jean-Gabriel Becker.
Mastered by Keith Tenniswood for Curvepusher.
