Sometimes a relaxed dinner with friends on your night off can take a life of it’s own. Discussions with Dubfire, Skrillex, and friends about music & technology then moved to current topic trends and quickly we found ourselves debating the merits of the #ALSIceBucketChallenge. Can this type of viral video really elevate awareness of an important issue? That discussion (over a few bottles of red wine) led us down a crazy path of ideas about who and how to do the best IceBucket video that would help spread this important message as far as possible. In the end, a rush of phone calls ended up with us all together, with our surprise guest Paris Hilton, a good humored gang of friends on the backstage of Amnesia Ibiza in our own very spontaneous IceBucket attempt! We all hope that this continues the global push to bring more awareness to this horrible disease and each of us will make our own individual donations to the cause. Beyond music genres and creative intentions, we share this video with all of our friends & fans together. We hope this inspires more of you to do the same. Sven, Anish, & Claire… it’s over to you!
