Agia Paraskevi - Loutra Kassandra Halkidiki Greece

Only a couple of kilometers from Paliouri, there is a small, majestic village named Agia Paraskevi. Although the village is mostly known for its thermal spa, whose treatments cure bone and muscle illnesses, you would do very well not to limit your visit only to that. In addition, the village is encircled by a pine forest with a couple of trails worth exploring.

Agia (Saint) Paraskevi is named after the church of the same name that features beautiful paintings. Besides the church, the village taverns are also noteworthy places, where your money is well spent on local specialties and traditional beverages (ouzo and tsipouro, for example) in a pleasant atmosphere.

As you are getting to know Agia Paraskevi better, you’ll notice that its inhabitants are very simple and exceptionally hospitable people. Beekeeping and olive cultivation are the main activities of this village.
