Editors Choice is a forthcoming feature we are going to be publishing in print and online. The point of it is for us to tell you what we consider to be the best products for cyclists, ranging from bikes, to clothing, shoes, tools and accessories. In some cases we are making videos for these products, so I have made a behind the scenes look of what happened on the video shoot. It rained, a lot, but was still fun! The video was shot on location in the Peak District National Park in the UK.

I think the 2017 Specialized Allez Sprint Sagan Edition frameset offers incredible value and incredible cool. Its $1, 200 sticker leaves plenty for a nice build and it would fun to make a hot rod out of it. And the sunglasses are cool, too. I'm sure I'd be mistaken for a Euro pro on holiday and I'd be fine with that. And thanks, Ollie, for your show. I look forward to it after work on Mondays here in Central Pennsylvania.

3T strada is surely the best bike released this year. If you were to have one bike to do everything this would have to be it. There's the option to use 650 wheels with wider tires for offroad or you can use standard 700c road wheels. The fact that there's no front derailleur mount adds simplicity whilst still maintaining high performance. The 3T strada is CLEARLY the best bike released this year.

Hi Ollie, My nomination for bike of the year is the Kinesis Aithein Evo. Its exactly like the old Aithein, only threaded! Ive just built one and its simply superb to ride. All you do is build it up to your needs, so winter bike, summer bike or KOM smasher! Its upto you. Oh, and it doesn't cost 3 million pounds. Cheers!

I love the Canyon ultimate cfx sl disc model. One of the fastest aero frames available with an integrated aero cockpit and super light. Very affordable too compared to other manufacturers, gives good spec for competitive price.

Cervelo R 5. We've seen the S 5 dominating the racing seen for awhile, so its good to know that cervelo is also making a move forward with their climbing range. Plus, they just look cool!

Really like my Canyon Inflite AL. Doubles up nicely as my cx race bike and my winter roadie. Stick a set of 28mm tyres and mudguards and you are good to go. The shimano discs are a dream in the bad weather too!

One of my favourite parts of the world. I too succumbed to the 'Devil Grid' on my cheap n cheerfull Merida Mtb. The Van Nicholas Skeiron is my top bike for 2017, mainly because its a Tit bike named after some flatulent Greek wannabe. Thumbs up for the behind the scenes footage. Winter is here! 😎😎😎
