The best part of this is how much they love each other, I have three brothers and they don't speak to me never mind spending money on following a dream, I wish the Lagina brothers success .I have watched oak island from the start and I am addicted to it, I hope they have one more go at it.

i also was born in the 60s and i loved reading my mothers magazines as they had a section on mysteries between all that horrible grown-up women stuff and i can still remember a picture of two young men in old fashion garb looking at a tree branch with rope burns i read the story and was hooked and I've been hooked on the story ever since and my library teacher would order in anything new he could find on the subject, he had a budget to order books that kids requested i was responsible for exhausting that years funds something that had never been done in the schools 27 years

These brothers are great, it's the History Channel that sucks...they hyped this into hr long shows when it should have been 30 min episodes. I got tired of the recaps and regurgitated content. But I still hope they get their Howard Carter moment

I just randomly saw this on Prime and can't fathom that people are actually watching this. I mean sure, might be exciting and interesting to follow someone looking for treasure and actual historic artefacts, no matter how much of it is staged but 166 episodes each around 40 minutes??? that's 56 hours!!! are they filming in real time or what? the island is less than 1 square mile with no notable elevation. how not to get bored by that after one or two seasons?

Dig a 200 foot deep quarry to excavate the whole island.
There have been many, many other huge pits excavated on earth.
Declare it to be an archaeological dig.

The History channel has gone down hill. History is history. theories and myths are another.
