I'll dig deeper into this, but a couple of things I'm wondering about...
1. Are the batteries in the camera and pod replaceable? Too many things these days have to be thrown out when their batteries give up the ghost. (EDIT: Apparently not - no replacement batteries are sold on the website. This is a no-go for me.)
2. Is a waterproof housing available for the camera without the pod? (EDIT: Waterproof on its own down to 33 feet.)

Another great review. I have the AcePro and the Go2, where I use the Go2 more only because of the convenience. However the Go3S gives me 4K30 and the convenience. Looks like I’ll be selling both to get the Go3S. Can you shoot 16:9 with the Go3S camera in vertical position on the pendant? Thanks.

I have a GO 3 and I am thinking about getting the GO3 S standalone. Since I will be using two GO 3s with the main pod will intelligently switch between the two? Meaning, if I am going through the settings I am assuming it will automatically detect which GO 3 I am using and adjust the settings accordingly or am I wrong? Also, will Find My still work from a standalone camera? Thanks!!

Question for you:

I currently have a Sony ZV1 and a GoPro Hero 12. The GoPro was a recent acquisition, got it for my birthday and it’s my first action camera. For the record, I don’t use it for action.

I just love the fact that I can throw the GoPro in my bag and not worry about hurting it. The GoPro looks AMAZING in bright sunlight, which is good for me because I live in Southern California. Lol. BUT, the minute that night falls or even if I just go inside a store or something, the GoPro suffers and falls apart. I call it “Sunny”.

I’m in the market to get a lower light camera that’s small, for vlogging and YouTube. I have my eyes on the Osmo Pocket 3, and also eventually want another action camera. I’ve been looking into the Ace Pro, but honestly this Go3S looks amazing.

Thoughts on the go3s for walking and talking, in varying (and occasional indoor) light? Like say, in a grocery store, inside the house or say, walking in a mall? The jitter blur reduction sounds epic and perfect for that.

I have the Go3, and I want to get just the camera. I know the Go 3 action pod is compatible, but I was wondering if there are any new features on the Go 3s action pod I will miss only getting the camera?
