Dr. Robert Chun is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. His area of clinical expertise includes low vision rehabilitation, and his research focus involves investigations of visual function among patients with retinal dystrophies.
Dr. Chun received his undergraduate degree in engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He received his doctor of optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed his residency training in low vision rehabilitation at the Illinois College of Optometry, the Chicago Lighthouse, and the Spectrios Institute for Low Vision. Thereafter, he completed a research fellowship at the Pangere Center for Inherited Retinal Diseases.
