Justice Served For Wave Of The Day - Keramas, 5 October 2020

At a lineup as competitive as Keramas, there's a tendency for the pack to push itself a little too deep and out of position, especially when a bigger set pops up.

As a result the best wave of the day often isn't caught at the peak or goes unridden completely. Luckily on this day, not only was someone in position, but it was Indonesia pro Bronson Meydi that latched onto it and surfed it perfectly (see the opening scene).

It's great to see the East coast start to crank, hopefully we'll see more of the same as we head into the back end of the year.

That smack at 1:24 was like the time when my brother was sitting at the end of our kitchen table while I was cookin breakfast. He ask me for a cig and I pulled one out of my pocket and threw it at him and it stuck perfectly into his mouth filter first!

Sic spot. whatever happened to people side slipping in barrels? I've been surfing 34 years and I'm 45 and I remember as a kid learning how to tube ride the first thing you did was learn how to side slip the barrel not make a huge bottom turn and then set up for the barrel there's less tube time that way. Ocean Beach/Sunset Cliffs. Jetty bowls and Newbreak tubes. TEAM LIS FISH

Bali needs to start taxing the mega resorts that have destroyed much of Bali to establish a proper waste management/sanitation system. I was shocked by the amount of garbage in some places. Yes, impoverished people have trouble managing waste so the govt need to step in and can do with with tax money from international owned resorts.

Heard there is lot of localism in Bali
