I suffered the exact same thing. I had to do research to finally make myself feel better. Apparently, the likelihood of babies' first words being dada, baba, papa is higher as the p/b/d sound is easier and all 3 derivatives stand for dad unlike the 'm' sound which is harder for them to form. Also, the dada isn't always referring to their dad....it is just whoever can feed them and care for them. I hope that makes you feel better. I know I sha felt better lol. Take heart mama.
