Venus & Serena Williams Win Olympic Doubles Gold - London 2012 Olympics

Full highlights of the women's tennis doubles gold medal match between the USA's Venus and Serena Williams and the Czech Republic's Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka from Centre Court at Wimbledon as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games (5 August).

Tennis has a long Olympic history but withdrew from the programme after 1924. It did not return as a medal sport until 1988. Professionals are now welcome to compete, and the Olympic competition includes men's and women's singles and men's and women's doubles.

Such a beautiful thing to see two beautiful black sisters win together! Through the highs and lows they kept the drive and determination and encouraged one another with gold medals on the line. Venus was amazing in this match! I've always thought she was better at doubles than Serena (though Serena is no doubt one of the best singles players of either gender in history). It's such a shame to hear about her illness.
