4:55 - not make it feel like a rebadged Chevy... Rebadged Equinox, to be exact.

Cadillac rebranding as an EV company makes sense to me. They look quite good

Nice package in general look forward to Cadillac making something that is iconic like the Escalade but isn’t the Escalade. I want an Eldorado or Fleetwood again that is made to be something that’s aspired to be owned for more than a lease term. The goal should be to have a car people want to create car clubs around because they create a lifestyle and have such a strong brand. Cadillac can get there if GM desires that but Hertz is so profitable I guess…

GM made a big mistake in forsaking Apple Car Play in favor of having Google pay for the infotainment system. Otherwise, I would seriously consider a new Caddy.

Powered charge flaps need to stop. How many decades did we go with powered gas flaps not being mainstream? Why. Make charge flaps

In 9/2024 I bought a new Cadillac XT4 to replace my wife's 10 year old Toyota Highlader... love the Cadillac XT4, and it has APPLE CARPLAY.

Next time I upgrade my car, 2017 Corvette stickshift, it MUST HAVE APPLE CARPLAY or it's no sale (just like back in 2017 when Lexus did not have APPLE CARPLAY so it was a nosale for me).

To see this car at the same price-point as the Lincoln Nautilus is encouraging. I don't understand why it will have the CCS port instead of NACS though. I thought NACS was to be standard in 2025 models.

Does the Optiq have a 400 Volt, or 800 Volt platform?

The gloss plastic worries me. Road trash salt and such may tear this up

That's a really nice looking vehicle.

That's actually pretty good relative to a Y performance price....$2k less. Same incentives. Nicer interior. But a lot slower....

I prefer the Lucid Gravity, but still nice car. Reason is, there just aren’t as much Lucid cars as there are Cadillacs, which makes Lucid more valuable and unique. Second reason being the fact that you get more features, even if you are paying way more money than the Optiq. Third reason is obvious, the Gravity is bigger, so you also have more space for your friends and/or family members all without sacrificing practicality thanks to the help of the impressive cargo space, and the frunk, which the Cadillac just doesn’t seem to have . Although it’s mainly because Cadillac claims it “maximizes interior space”. In short, the Gravity is the better option all around.

Thank god Cadillac gave this design language some color, in my opinion this design needs bright colors to promote sale.

With fed discount $37k is a steal. 2yr lease should be $320…steal.

$54k? I think I'd pay a few k more and buy a Lyriq.

I love the Optiq, I have a 2021 Model Y and this will be replacing it.

The gloss black plastic trim has to go. It looks cheap in interiors and looks cheap on exteriors as well.
