Jing Haipeng, one of the two Chinese astronauts onboard Tiangong-2 space lab, was seen “walking” a silkworm in a video newly released by Xinhua News Agency on Thursday. Raising silkworms is one of the three space experiments designed by Hong Kong middle school students. The astronauts have brought six silkworms with them into the space lab, and have prepared specially made feed for them. In the video, Jing Haipeng was seen leading one of the silkworms with a piece of silk line tied on his finger. According to the staff of the program working at the Beijing Aerospace Control Center, all the silkworms are in good condition at present.
