This car video showcases a beautiful pair of exotic cars found at Boardwalk Ferrari & Maserati in Dallas. Although the SRT Viper is more than half the price of the McLaren, it boasts better acceleration times. The McLaren MP4-12C however could spank the Viper on a road course though such as Laguna Seca with a lot of twists and turns. Both are undeniably beautiful, fast cars, but from totally different worlds and approaches to automotive engineering. It’s good ol’ fashioned American muscle vs the High-Tech European supercar.

I think you accidentally got the description details a little backwards. Lol The MP4-12C has quicker acceleration (0-60 2.8s) than the SRT Viper (0-60 3.2); however, the Viper would be sure to out-perform it on a road course. The McLaren, I'm certain, would need chasis & suspension redesign/improvement(s) to keep up with either the ('08+) Viper, or the current ZR-1 on a track. For instance, the Nurburgring; one of the most rigorous road course tracks a sports car can ever encounter; the MP4-12C recorded a time of 7:28.0 (26th, on the top 100 Nurburgring lap times). Ironically enough, dead even with the Ferrari 458 Italia. The '10 Viper ACR on the other hand?? ...7:12.13 (6th on the top 100 chart). Also. Just as a reference, the '12 ZR-1 is ranked 12th (7:19.63) and the '11 Z06 is ranked 14th (7:22.68). The MP4-12C is surely an incredible sports car, but there is VERY little, to nothing out there in which can hang with a Viper on a road course. That is, within its own class, anyway. Ha
